Where Lumecca IPL addresses superficial redness broadly, Vasculaze targets specific, discrete vessels that IPL cannot eliminate. Together, they form a complete vascular correction protocol for patients with significant vessel concerns.

Diolaze
Laser Hair Removal

Diolaze is one of the fastest, most powerful diode laser hair removal systems available — designed for permanent hair reduction across all skin types. Its large treatment head and built-in cooling make treatments faster and more comfortable than older laser systems.

Unlike waxing or shaving, Diolaze targets the hair follicle directly — delivering energy that permanently disables the follicle without damaging surrounding skin. After a series of sessions, hair growth is permanently and significantly reduced in the treated area.

Preparing for Laser

  • Consultation with Dr. Anna to determine the right treatment for your skin
  • Avoid sun exposure and self-tanning for 4 weeks before any laser treatment
  • Avoid retinoids and exfoliants 5–7 days prior
  • For Diolaze: shave the area 24 hours before — do not wax or thread
  • Arrive with clean skin, no lotions, makeup, or deodorant on the area
During Treatment

The Laser Session

  • Protective eyewear provided for all laser treatments
  • Lumecca & Vasculaze: brief snapping sensation, mild warmth
  • Diolaze: built-in contact cooling makes treatment very comfortable
  • Sessions range from 15 minutes (small areas) to 60 minutes (full body)
  • Dr. Anna performs every treatment — not a technician
After Treatment

Recovery & Care

  • Lumecca: pigmented spots darken before shedding over 1–2 weeks — this is normal
  • Vasculaze: treated vessels may appear darker briefly before fading
  • Diolaze: mild redness resolves within hours; avoid heat and friction for 24h
  • SPF 50 daily is mandatory for all laser patients post-treatment
  • Avoid sun exposure for 4 weeks following any laser treatment

Vasculaze is a targeted 1064nm Nd:YAG laser that precisely destroys discrete vascular structures — spider veins, broken capillaries, cherry angiomas — that IPL cannot fully eliminate. Many patients benefit from both: Lumecca for broad-spectrum improvement, Vasculaze for specific vessel targeting.

Lumecca IPL works best on lighter skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III). For patients with medium to darker skin tones, IPL carries a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Dr. Anna will assess your skin type at consultation and recommend the safest approach — which may mean Vasculaze or Diolaze rather than Lumecca for darker skin. Patient safety is always prioritized over booking a treatment that may not be right for you.

Most patients achieve 80–90% permanent hair reduction with 6–8 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Hair grows in cycles, and the laser only affects follicles in the active growth phase — which is why multiple sessions are required. Coarser, darker hair responds fastest. Areas with hormonal hair growth (chin, upper lip) may require occasional maintenance sessions. Dr. Anna will give you a personalized estimate based on your area and hair type.

Yes, with appropriate sequencing. Lumecca and Vasculaze can typically be done the same day as Botox, or within a day or two of filler placement. Diolaze can be performed any time alongside injectable treatments. Dr. Anna will coordinate your full treatment plan so that all procedures are properly sequenced for safety and maximum results.

Diolaze is one of the most comfortable laser hair removal systems available, thanks to its integrated contact cooling that chills the skin immediately before, during, and after each pulse. Most patients describe the sensation as a mild rubber band snap. Sensitive areas (bikini, underarms) may feel more intense than legs or back. The speed of the large treatment head also means less total time in discomfort.
