Most patients rate their discomfort a 2–3 out of 10. Sensitive areas like lips and tear troughs may feel more intense, but the discomfort is brief.

Most patients experience mild swelling and bruising for 3–7 days. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications for 24–48 hours before your appointment to minimize bruising. Plan to look your best within 1–2 weeks as swelling fully resolves.
